TECHNICAL NEWS
- Works for the Long Shutdown are going on
- The cables trays around the REX-beam lines have been removed
- The vacuum is not yet restarted because some elements are not responding: Giovanna was contacted
- Works on the REX-RFQ are postponed to June after civel engineering in the hall is completed
- The target area is being prepared for the robots removal, the cage is shielded, and the robot rails will be removed next week
- The RILIS group got a room for chemical laboratory in the LARIS lab, bldg. 252
- The RILIS laser barrack will be extended, a quote for this work was received (12kEuro)
- The Nicole area is being prepared for the civil engineering in the hall
- Works in the hall: both the cutting of the wall and the excavation of the trench will be done in the same time period: on the Tuesday 7th may the area will be inspected and the works are expected to start on Wednesday 8th May. It is going to take 8 weeks.
GENERAL ISOLDE
- Empting of bldg. 115 is on-going: Guilherme and Karl reported on the status of their laboratory;
- The building should be emptied by May 24th the latest, and then the electricity will be cut.

- On Monday 6th May 14:30, students from Hasselt University; Mark B. is the contact person, still looking for one guide;
- Next visit 21st May 14:30, Belgian teachers will be guided by Elisa and Thomas;
