1.Technical news

· Cold checkout in progress.

· All power supplies “unlocked” (can apply voltages). Testing going on.

· GPS robot functionality confirmed. Shelf positions recalibrated. Work going on the HRS robot, to be ready by the end of the week.

· Leaks in the target cooling-water system being repaired.

· Next week two targets will be installed for testing. RILIS will also use them to verify the laser beam paths.

· Next week work on ISCOOL for voltage-calibration purposes.

· Problem occurred with one of the ASTEC power supplies. It has been replaced by a spare.

· There will be a patrol in the separator zone. After that ISOLDE will obtain the official go-head for the next year.

· Work is being done in both SAS buildings. Many thanks to all for the help on Tuesday for moving the content of the old to the new one. Gas bottles have already been moved. The He recuperation line is also being moved. Aluminum and wood plates have been moved in front of the old SAS. Feel free to take what you need.

· The EBIS has been baked out.

· The REX rf has been restarted. REX will be ready this week and takes stable beam the week after.

· This year REX will be mainly set up by the second operator of the week with help from Fredrik and Didier.

· RILIS has received from repair one of the pump lasers. The second one is on its way.

· RILIS is preparing for a test with the LIST target using Mg.

· MCP and a Faraday cup will be installed in the CB0 line to be used by the target group and RILIS.

· The old tape station is working. The new one will be repaired by the Strasbourg group next week.

· First targets are already being produced.

2.Safety:

· The vacuum of several LN2 dewars requires a periodic check.

· The RP safety course will be available online in the summer. Until then the old procedure is in place.

· Soon it will be possible to split the validity of temporary dosimeters into multiple runs.

·

3.Physics and schedule

· The schedule was released last week. Check the ISOLDE webpage.

· Early registration for the EURORIB conference is March 20-th.

· The deadline for ENSAR applications is 14-th of March.
