  2. There will be a cooling water break on 15th of June.
  3. Next technical stops of injector chain on weeks 29, 35 and 42.
  4. EBIS cathode gets poisoned fairly quickly, origin of that not known. For light ions (short charge breeding time), there is a way to go around it by burning and sputtering it clean between cycles, but that may not work for heavier beams.
  5. Two months LHC shutdown starts on the 6th of December.

  2. Solid-state physics took beam during weekend. Few hours break on Saturday morning as target heating stopped.
  3. 2 days technical stop started on Monday morning 5:00, protons back on Tuesday evening 18:00.
  4. HRS target was changed successfully, although clamps did not connect well which introduced some problems.
  5. Beam to COLLAPS on Wednesday evening.

· Fire brigade was called into ISOLDE hall due to smell of smoke. Turned out to be just oil tripped on a hot roughing pump and thus a false alarm. It was anyway discussed that if someone is going heat up/bake out anything that may create smell of smoke, a log book entry should be made.

· Two summer students were introduced: Mr. Joonas Konki (MINIBALL, Janne), Mr. Reko Hynönen (COLLAPS, Deyan).

· No group meeting next week due to EURORIB conference.
