- EBIS has been repaired in record time and Be beam in REX was possible already on Saturday. Unfortunately this beam disappeared on Saturday evening and magically re-appeared on Sunday morning. Possible cause is a mechanical blocking in a diagnostics box.
- Nice results have been obtained with this 11Be beam (few hours of decay data in Leuven implantation chamber and several hours of reaction data with the T-REX chamber). More detailed analysis will bring more information. A rough 6E4 11Be per second was observed at MINIBALL.
- Liquid Pb target has been installed on GPS on 21/10 with standard MK3 plasma source.
- On the HRS, UC target with quartz transfer line to produce n-rich Zn beams with RILIS (ISOLTRAP + LA1 fast timing)
- Solid state physics program : with PAC technique try to see how Hg atoms bind on magnetic nanoparticles + study of the evolution of impurities in Silicon substrates.

- A colleague from Legnaro will participate in the RILIS setup for the upcoming Zn run.
- In week 48 there will be the separator courses and a test of the stability of the HV supply for COLLAPS

- Programme of the ISOLDE workshop is online.
- Several applications for fellowships have been received. Decision by committee : 17/11
- Call for new coordinator position will be launched shortly (deadline for application end of November)
