- SEM grid was installed on GPS. Protons to the target was delayed because the “watchdog” (=alarm that switches of the proton beam when there are losses) could not be reset after an alarm interlock.
- The problems with Scanners might be due to a software bug.
- RFQ : problem with the needle valve. Opening/closing remains problematic and uncertain.
- On thursday 60% transmission in continuous mode with K. Bunched Be transmission was only 5-8 %. Though COLLAPS could do some offline studies and they hope to get something out. COLLAPS wishes to thank the technical team for all the efforts !
- REX ventilation is broken and delays the startup of the linac. Though, the RF for the linac is ready.
- nTOF asked for 2E19 protons but will only receive 4.6E18p with a possible increase to 7.3E18. Consequences for ISOLDE are not clear.
