2. A.O.B:

· ISOLDE has been granted 8 summer students. This includes all projects with high and intermediate priority, plus another student for the first project of the ones with the lowest priority.

· There has been an inspection on electrical safety on Tuesday.

· There will be a course on GEANT 4 organized near Bratislava, Slovakia in the period 9-12 Oct. The approximate fee including accommodation and food is currently estimated at about 300EUR. The first circular will follow soon.

· Piet Van Duppen initiated a discussion for a universal representation of ISOLDE in scientific presentations, which includes a new logo and a new layout of the experimental hall. There have been a number of suggestions. The main idea is that an example of the logo and the layout should be provided on the ISOLDE web in a user-friendly format, but possibly also the original 3D drawings.

· Please consider the ISOLDE LOGO COMPETITION, whose deadline stands at April 15-th. Send your logo directly to Piet. There will be a prize to win. Yorick did not state clearly what it will be, but it may be worth nonetheless.
