Technical News

• There was no technical meeting.   

Safety

• There will be an inspection of the Swiss OFSP (Office Fédéral de la Santé Publique) on January 10^th in the afternoon. They will also be interested in the new HIE-ISOLDE facility.
• There was a preliminary inspection of the lab today, things are already in a relatively good shape, but a number of things will be moved.  Some cupboards will be also transported to the old control room, as well as the lead bricks.
• Another final inspection will be made Monday January 9^th. If your setup’s representatives cannot be present please contact Karl.
• A suggestion was made to replace the big wooden box of the Germanium detector with a smaller box, in order to save space.

• For access over Christmas a special access request must be made, specifying the reason. 
• The ISOLDE Workshop took place last week. Big thanks to all people who were involved in the organization of the workshop, including the volunteers who helped out in the conference room. 

The next PG meeting will be held Wednesday January 11^th at 14:00.
