No comments to the minutes from the ISOLDE Physics Group Meeting from 27 June 2013.

TECHNICAL NEWS:

- No technical news.

GENERAL ISOLDE:

- Two new summer students have arrived at ISOLDE:

a) Pawel Baczyk, Warsaw University, Poland (working with Paul)

b) Eva Zakoucka, University of Prague, Czech Republic (working with Monika)

- Olof Tengblad, IEM-CSIC Madrid, will be replacing Magda from July until she is back.

- Bld. 275 was found to be crowded and disorganized after the clean-up of bld. 601, 115 and 507. Cleaning and reorganization of the space is scheduled on next Thursday, 11 July 2013 at 10am. People in charge of the equipment stored in bld. 275 are strongly recommended to show up.

- Maria, Elisa and Monika reported on conferences and meetings they attended recently:

a) International Nuclear Physics Conference (INPC 2013), Florence, Italy.

b) Nuclear Structure Physics with Advanced Gamma-Detector Arrays (NSP13), Padova, Italy.

c) EURISOL User Group Topical Meeting 2013, Krakow, Poland.

AOB:

- Prof. Ander MacFarlane from the University of British Columbia, Canada, will be visiting ISOLDE on Monday 29 July. He will give a seminar at 14.00 in the ISOLDE visitors room.

- Summer students lecture program course is available on http://indico.cern.ch/categoryDisplay.py?categId=345.

- The last meeting was followed by the seminar of Frank Wienholtz on “Mass measurements of exotic Calcium isotopes using ISOLTRAP’s multi-reflection time-of-flight (MR-ToF) mass spectrometer” (https://indico.cern.ch/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=260738)

- Next meeting will take place next Thursday 11 July 2013 at the usual place and time and it will be followed by the seminar of Dr. Kieran Flanagan (University of Manchester, UK) on “The CRIS experiment at ISOLDE”.
